Face ID data stays on your physical device, it doesn't even go to the cloud. That's why you have to redo it when you get a new phone. As far as I know, that's also true of touch ID data but I don't know as much about that.

I think we should have both Face ID and Touch ID. That way, Face ID users can use Face ID, and Touch ID users can use Touch ID.

I agree with that considering how you could just put touch ID in the power button, but I disagree that Face ID collect your face because everything is stored locally
