The only thing I can tell you then is that it takes time for your audio to upload. When sending messages, tapping stop you get a beep, a few seconds later, it will be a different beep, then your message is sent. If you are not getting any of that, the only thing I can think is that you have a connection problem, so try rebooting your Wi-Fi, or just using cellular and see if you can get something to go.

Lol shut up. I did try closing down the phone and the app, it simply doesn't like me lol

When is the last time you closed out the app, And rebooted your phone? Try that, otherwise, it's prolly just cause you're defective
