Snake oil sounds about right. There is a headphone product out there called sentient, and they have been in and out of crowd funding campaigns for at least four years that I can tell now. I did actually spend more than $300 on supporting a campaign, and hopefully getting a pair, but had to call my bank to file a fraud claim on them. Got my money back, but they probably also did get my money. They have a series of pissed off customer complaints on Facebook as well. This is probably no different. Just saying. Be careful out there.
