Hi Savanna, completely agree with everything you said. Although I think you might have meant to put this in my other thread. I get it though I’ve posted a lot today. Lol. I’m always the person that helps people find the bathroom and do that kind of stuff as well. People have different skills and are at different points in their life where someone else might have learned more than they did. Sometimes it’s just important to help somebody and not really concern yourself with all that. Of course I would like to meet your friend. I’m always interested in meeting new people. Anyways I hope you have a good evening.

Hey Robby, it's me Savannah. Known as Spiritual Angel. I directly hope your well. I think this is absolutely a wonderful opened great fostered discussion. I agree. I totally agree with you. Yes! We do absolutely need to have this conversation. Your absolutely right! Yep. People with multiple disabilities often directly at times, often do git negative feedback from some people in the NFB. I've heard about the ACB, and personally I've heard that a lot of people with blindness have often switched to joining that organization. I however firmly believe that if a person with usable vision should personally have the right to help/ guide others if a blind or visually impaired person with total/ complete blindness needs help gitting where they need or want to go. And I've had a personal background Philosophy that I directly believe in. My background of where I personally grewup and personally had been accustomed from/ to is, you help a person that needs help/ guidance gitting from Point A Place to Point B Place safely and successfully/ independently and I deffinitly do 100% know where this is going. For example! I went to an organization called AlphaPointe Association For The Blind located out of Kansas City Missouri! And there was a lot of people that were completely blind and there also were some people that were on the verge of losing their vision. Some of the instructors, such as activities of daily living and O And M along with the Rehab Supervisor/ Manager for the program was very rude/ vindictive/ arrigant and biggetted verbaly towards myself. And I've had the personal direct privelidge to help people that were completely/ totally blind. I say this to say that I always got framed/ frowned upon when I was helping people go find the bathroom and or reading rooms and classes along with the cafiteria. It's personally rediculous and stupid how people with partial vision git told that others cannot be helped and or given physical assistance and my thing is what are completely blind people that are struggling with O And M supposed to do? It's personally all about control and demand and intemidation with some people that are in positions of leadership. Those types of people that tend to belittle others that are good semaritons, shouldn't face backlash. I was told as a good semariton that I wasn't aloud to assist people at AlphaPointe. And my thing is, I seriously believe that people displaying the backlash card, in my personal observation opinion believe that accountability should be taken into account. I mean, it's not just people with blindness/ multiple disabilities that often git ridiculed within the NFB, people like myself often have been on recieving ends of backlash with light perception usage when it came to helping others. I mean, your hearing this come from an individual follower such as me that had actually wanted to be a TVI, known as teacher of the visually impaired. Please know one thing about me is that I'm personally not a one size fits all person. I believe that if you have a personal cane of your choice that you use for O And M, personally you should be always aloud to use the type of cane you want. The NFB believes that you can and other blind people can live the life they want and you want. I mean I've personally interacted with people that git exposed to a lot of dictationship within the leadership of NFB within the other states like Colerado and Louisiana especially, Louisiana Center For The Blind And Colerado Center For The Blind. Often, good semaritons that are blind, often git verbaly seem via backlashing people as the vanilla blind people/ vanilla blind person. My thing is, I may not be good with outside O And M, but I for sure can do great with inside O And M depending on how good I can memorize a building's layout. I mean put it to you like this. Blindness isn't the characteristics that hold you myself or others back. Personally, if your ever up for this I should introduce you to my bestie Haley Tyrrill she's very nice.
