I would go with what Daisy and a couple of others has said on this topic. The unique thing about this app which is what I totally love, is the initial audio posts. Any comments or private messaging could have the option. That way this app keeps its uniqueness if that’s such a word, while being flexible at the same time.

Sounds great! Also, it would be great if you could get replies to private messages working on Android too.

Thank you all, nothing is changing for this RE Rambles; this was only for private messages. But nobody seems to be against the idea, so it looks like this is going forward.

My personal opinion is that direct messages should always be audio or text. But ramble yes, the original ramble should always be audio and then people can reply to it with text comments that they choose to.

Texting would be a good additional feature because you know it is just another way for all of our blind brothers and sisters to connect because this app is another avenue to remove ourselves from isolation

I like the idea of the first private message from someone being audio, and then being able to comment on it via text or audio.

Yeah I would be good with Text as well for messages :-)

Yes, do both absolutely and if you can get the TTS for the written messages all the better but if not, that’s fine but allow the option for both

Text for private messages is a good idea.

I also agree with Daisy. I think that the original post should be audio and comments could be either text or audio.

I think the text invoice would be a good idea for private messages. Once this thing hits the App Store and you have a lot of people out here people will be able to connect with one another and share their contact information if they wish or just have conversations to the text messaging part or voice message part that would be private.
