Hey! This actually happened to me with my previous account. I was trying to log in on iOS and it just wouldn’t work. I ended up deleting that account through the website because I basically gave up and decided to create a new one, this one. The funny thing is, when I tried logging into this new account, I got the exact same error. Then I thought, “Why not try turning off Wi Fi and my VPN?” I don’t know if your friend is using Wi Fi, but if he is, tell him to switch it off and try logging in with mobile data instead. It makes absolutely no sense, but it worked for me. Also, if he’s using a VPN, tell him to turn that off too. Again, I have no idea why it fixes it, but it did for me. Hope that helps! Hopefully he won’t have to create a new account like I did. That part was my own fault because I gave up too quickly. 😅
