That is a sad story! I don't know but maybe they tricked him and then he went on this trip with them. It's too bad he doesn't have a journal somewhere or maybe recording before he left, I mean there's always the chance of that. And if they do an autopsy maybe you'll figure out a few things because nowadays there is the forensic ability for things like that to be figured out.
