The dragon drop thing has been glitchy for years. Sometimes it works perfectly, other times it does not. It sometimes helps if you move up and then back down to what you want. So for example if you’re dragging something somewhere once you get to drop after where you’re trying to put it flicking up and back down to what you want sometimes helps.
