I like to consider what’s the worst that could happen, I know this strategy doesn’t work for everyone but for example when it comes to asking for assistance, you might ask someone and they just ignore you or walk away but that’s okay someone else who is more friendly or helpful will come along soon enough. In my experience, the worst thing that can happen is someone ayss no, and when you consider it like that, it’s not so bad.

I remember when I first got into Radio it was almost a year before I did my first remote broadcast. I was perfectly fine in the studio talking on the mic even though I knew that there were thousands of people listening, I didn't know for a fact that they were there. But when I did that first remote and over 1000 people came out then it really hit me. So yes, the shyness and having difficulty interacting with people in person is definitely a hard one in the beginning. But in time, you'll get there. I remember my first week in Radio and I had went to a store that actually played our station over the loudspeaker and I remember how much that freaked me out because I'm like wow! People do listen. Lol
