Wright Albert, I didn’t go into any place in settings on my iPhone. This was a notification that came up, like my news notifications, etc., and it clicked that Xfinity was talking about what I had just done as it was minute before, so I double tapped on that notification from the Xfinity app, saw all the different times when access was blocked, and then found where I could turn off the advanced security, and saw of course in my app switcher that the Xfinity app was active.

It's really crazy how many customers Xfinity and spectrum are losing to T-Mobile 5G home Internet and Verizon's 5G home Internet option.
Gordon
Let us know if you need any help with anything since we're customers and we have the power of persuasion to leave and go somewhere else. Lol
Josh S
I have contacted Xfinity and Spectrum to hopefully sort this out.
Gordon
I just wonder why spectrum and Xfinity feel that Ramblio opened you up to security vulnerabilities? These are just voice messages. And everything else works just fine with the app.

OK, let me check again.

Still doesn’t work for me. I have to close the app and reopen it with Wi-Fi. Turned off in order to get anything to play. Even turning Wi-Fi off with the app open still doesn’t work.

No change here.

There is something a little different on my phone that wasn't there before. When I attempt to play a message from the main feed the stop button appears at the bottom of the screen with the player options. Before you made these changes it only did that with comments, now it's doing it with the main feed but it still shows zero seconds of the message is played.
Gordon
No change for me. I closed Ramblio in the app switcher and reopened it and attempted to play a message and it would not play. Not sure if this is something that happens immediately or if it will take a little while for your changes to propagate.
Josh S
I have actually just temporarily changed the provider for the download side, so if this works for anyone that would be awesome to know
Gordon
That is very interesting! I wonder what it is about Ramblio that caused them to block it in the first place? I don't see anything in the spectrum router for Ramblio, so maybe some networks allow you to access that and others don't. I wonder if Josh will be able to fix this or is it just something we're always going to have to deal with? On my network spectrum it only applies to playing voice messages, I can do text replies, everything else except play audio.
