Hey all, a lot of comments. hopefully I don't miss anything. The volume thing is an IOS audio session thing; its switching to some kind of call mode, I'm not sure at this point how much control I have over that, but can do more testing. Anyone can join anyones hangout; the followers only is to allow you to ping people into the hangout via a push notification. I did mention the raising hand issue in the Ramble; it is something I am going to add for sure.

Yeah, I agree with what Mark said I think there should be a notification letting you know when somebody created a hang out that way other people know

Just discovered that doing a hangout totally screwed with your volume even when you end the hangout. I ended the hangout then I went and listened to some ramble and the volume was extremely low even though my device volume never changed. When I stopped the app in the app switcher and restarted it everything went back to the way it should be. so something definitely happens to your volume when you connect to a hangout.

So I created one and it looks like anyone can join and then I can invite followers. But when I got inside it really raised my volume and voiceover was screaming at me. It showed my device volume at 25% and the rotor volume at 10% but the volume was a much much louder than that.

I remember jacket FM having a hangouts and no one ever used that. There's so many places to do that already. most people go to Clubhouse or WhatsApp for that kind of stuff most people go to Clubhouse or WhatsApp for that kind of stuff.

It sounds like it's one of those situations where you have to be following the person and they have to be following you in order to see those. That's a good idea if you want a private hangout, but once this app starts to become big there needs to be something public you can create so that folks can get done at one another.

I haven't seen any active hangouts at all. it seems like it would make sense to have rooms that are publicly available to anyone because he would only see those hangouts if you choose to go to the tab and look and see what's active.
