Oh God, that’s just gross plain nasty. My dad has a thing that he does. We’re all say something like I don’t see something he goes of course you don’t reply and go feel for it. Yes, and when this person told the story, they didn't think that it was anything sexual. It was just absolute ignorance, and the family's way of teaching this child the difference between boys and girls, and they really honestly thought that it was appropriate and OK.

When I was at the blind school, we had this mobility instructor who encouraged us to touch anything. We were on a mobility run one day, and we had passed this individual whose face was covered in piercings. This mobility instructor asked this person if it would be OK if I touch their face so that I could see what a person's face felt like full of piercings. I declined and told him he was crazy. I have absolutely no desire to touch a total stranger's face.

I remember the first time I went to a funeral, my mother encouraged me to touch the body. I'm not squeamish about such things, but I have to admit it was kind of odd how insistent she was. Like who encourages their child to touch a dead body.

I wonder if the toilet can diagnose any health issues you might have based on what you drop in it. They could just call a smart toilet, and not only does it help the blind, but it can help diagnose other issues that you might have.

My first day at the blind school, I had several people asking me if they could feel my face. And of course, I politely declined because that's just weird unless you're with someone intimately or something like that, it's just weird.
