The word rosary means crown of roses. The rosary is a set of 59 beads, starting with the crucifix, our father beat, three Hail Mary beads, another our Father bead, followed by a center piece depicting the blessed Virgin Mary, and five sets of 10 beads called decades. with an our father bead at the beginning of each one.

Thanks for the summary. One of my best friends gave me a rosary when we were both kids. He's the only friend I had who ever talked to me about that kind of stuff. I never knew what to do with it. But it's still in my possession.

That's very kind of you. Thanks for the offer. Perhaps some other time. At the moment I'm working on several finals that need to be submitted soon. But I think it's great that you seem to be well-informed about your beliefs. God bless.
