Thanks for this Claire, it was great and very educational as well. I’ve always enjoyed listening to South African music, particularly groups like black Mambazo, who I’m pretty sure did a track with Paul Simon at one point.

I’m not sure if they also did peace train with Cat Stevens, or if that was a difference South African group but that song also has those really vibrant vocal melodies unique to South Africa.
