Wasn't there a ramble a while back about using AI music as therapy? I'm sure I've seen something like that somewhere at least, but I forgot about it. Also thanks for reminding me of the live angle; I've attended very few concerts but it is absolutely part of the human artistic ethos, and one that, as you say, AI can not take over.

I agree with you, Brooke 100%. Humans have become so lazy that they don’t even believe in themselves anymore. We have all of these skills and abilities and gifts that God gave us and we’d rather place our lives in our creative aspirations into the memory of some man-made piece of trash of a robot and I don’t care how good they make them. I have always been opposed to anything AI over human. I don’t care what it is. And sometimes human beings, make the poorest examples and give reasons why some people think AI would be better. But overall, what God made let not man tear it apart. And no creative work is going to be more pleasurable to you than that that came from yourself.

Our exceptions. Randee Travis and Patrick Darling are both exceptions. After Randee stroke, they had to find a way to give him his voice back. When Patrick Darling lost his voice to ALS, they used AI to give him his voice back through old recordings. That's how they did it. That's an example of AI being used for good. Randee is still around and he does still go on tour, but he just can't sing very well anymore. There's a country singer that sings for him and is his surrogate voice. That is an exception and that's an example of AI being used for good. AI literally solved what doctors could not.

And remember this, AI isn’t taking anything away from us. Humans are making the choice to give it away or to use AI rather than their own ambitions and skills and gifts and talents. It’s an insult to God. And to man really. And I agree that we could use AI as a tool but people are letting it use their very own personalities and they’re very own cells and that’s disturbing.
