Long distance relationships have never really worked out for me. Both people have to be willing to be in the same place and have similar goals that are compatible. If you don’t eventually end up living in the same place, you cannot expect the relationship to last. If you are blind and tied down to a job somewhere, it’s not that simple to uproot your life and move a way to be with someone unless that person is willing to take care of you until you find something else. We live in reality, not a fairytale world. That’s what people failed to understand.

No, I couldn’t get involved in a long distance relationship., I would need someone to have and to hold. You can’t do that long distance.

Having had several of them not work out and one of them that did, it just depends on the people that are involved. my husband and I met online back in 1996 and we are almost married 27 years.

I mean, at this point, you gotta find somebody who would also be ready for something similar. Sometimes that's the hard part to be honest. Finding attraction, that's easy. But what I think is the difficult part is learning whether or not you're compatible with someone, and especially learning, whether or not you can believe in them as a person, partner, any of that. They have to be reliable and be able to keep to a schedule among other things, especially with distance.

And don’t call yourself an old lady Diane. I think you’re only a few years older than me.

If a male and a female that are ABSOLUTELY IN AUTHENTICALLY TRANSPARENT LOVE with each other, whether either of whom live locally, regionally, nationally, or even globally from one another, and the financial obstacles ONLY SEEM EXTREMELY IMPOSSIBLE to SUCCESSFULLY be achieved on either or both ends, as long as BOTH of whom are OBSTINATELY DETERMINED to GET THEIR OWN WAY, ESPECIALLY when each/both know that their NOT SUPPOSED to, and FINALLY BE TOGETHER, ANYWAY, IT CAN and SHOULD be done, REGARDLESS of whatever the consequencial outcome is or isn't.

My opinion, I feel like long distance relationships don’t really work out now I’m not gonna say all cause there is some that people can make work, but it’s like y’all live in different cities and states like you don’t live close so you don’t know if they’re talking to other people when they’re with you even though they say they’re not still, you don’t know. but like I said, I’m not gonna judge all long distance relationships.
