I sang this on a hangout a couple days ago. I absolutely love this song and the drums add a very interesting element to it I would never have thought to include. I'm a little obsessed. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Brother, this is amazing. Really tasteful, and also just from a pure recording perspective, sounds amazing. Did you mic your entire kit and mix this?

that's amazingly good lol. I keep wanting to tell a drummer friend to get into the EKIT but he says they’re too expensive.

Replying to @bermudianbrit: that's amazingly good lol. I keep wanting to tell a drummer friend to get into toh they can be. Trust me they can. But they don't have to be. You can get good EKits for under $1000. The built in samples won't sound the best but just connect it to a computer and trigger Midi.

For example. This drum cover? It wasn't even recorded on a kit at all. It was recorded using a finger drum pad connected to logic. My drums are still sitting in Saint Louis with my ex wife. I am hoping to get them back real soon.

Will do! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I honestly haven't had someone say they enjoy my playing for about 8 months.
