Good post. Iâm glad you are crazy like that, as you say, and you helped out. I think itâs good that you were also able to be guarded and check with others. I donât think thereâs anything wrong with asking for money, I do not believe that begging is the same thing as grifting, and I know there are a lot of people who are hungry. I would say stay cool, help out, if you can, and keep it in perspective.

This may be controversial, but I think we should normalize people asking for help publicly instead of privately. As this country gets more and more vicious towards the poor, itâs going to be more common for people to need help and we shouldnât demonize them for doing it publicly or privately.
