What do you guys think about Christianity, since I have my own opinions about it, but I just want to

Honestly, this has been some of the best discourse on Christianity I’ve heard in a long time. Well done, it’s clear that you’ve given this a lot of thought and that you’ve managed to make it work for you. I would go along with much of what you’re saying actually.

Leo, Richard Bach wrote a book called One. It includes a brief bit about the downfall of the concept of religion. It's about what is called by the speaker of that section, The Pages. My memory of it is vague, but I think you'd like it. But yes, the movie Kingdom of Heaven often lets leaders use the battle cry, "God WILLS IT!" and I think makes the point of this itself being dangerous and severely prone to representing human desire more than divine guidance. I think that's what you call Empire. (1/2)

See also the part of Samuel where the people wanted a king, and after trying to tell them they really didn't, God finally relented and basically said, "Ok fine, you can have a king, but these calamities will befall you as a result." People at some level want human leaders, which makes the very dangers we discuss come to pass all the more readily. So I agree: Empire, as I think you mean it, is the problem more than any specific faith, because it is our human tendency to want to worship something we can see. It can be people or objects; but idolatry surely encompasses them all.

I can't speak to other parts of the world, but for the US, it's basically a business model, a propaganda machine and a tool of authoritarian control.

There's ABSOLUTELY NO BETTER ANSWER, WHATSOEVER, than the content of this AUTHENTICALLY POWERFUL sermon, entitled: "WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN?" BY PASTOR CHUCK BALDWIN (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=moZMjWkM1rw&pp=ygUqUEFTVE9SIENIVUNLIEJBTERXSU46IFdIQVQgSVMgQSBDSFJJU1RJQU4_0gcJCRMMAYcqIYzv).

I follow after the word of God, which is found in the scriptures, not after religion. Not after man’s dogma. Not after any of men’s traditions or commandments. Not even after men’s law. I am under the law of liberty and grace, and Jesus Christ is my master. He is my owner. He is indeed the God that brought me I don’t care what other people believe him about him, my relation relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is based on my faith and what God himself reveals unto me about him and his father. So I’m not a Catholic, a Baptist, a Pentecostal, a Buddhist, and as longest, I belong to no religious organization and no religious church. And remember, God doesn’t make saints out of Christians. He makes Saints out of sinners. So when you forget about the world and the things in the world and follow the Lord God he chooses you out of the world, and you become one of his saints. Then you don’t have to worry about anybody’s religion about all the in fighting that goes on amongst men and their different beliefs. Read the scriptures that God has given us that inspire man to understand and believe in trust in the truth, and God will lead you the rest of the way he’ll teach you. He’ll show you the truth, and you won’t have to be bothered by the way of men because you’ll be learned in the ways of God.

Angie I think your last audio was cut shorter than you intended.

Thanks, Doug. I got a phone call that interrupted and I thought I was continuing when I came back, but I guess I didn’t. Thanks for letting me know.

Fatima, Doug, and Angie, ESPECIALLY, although I wish that I could upload it as a direct audio comment, via the web version of this platform, but OBVIOUSLY, I CAN'T, UNFORTUNATELY, are you able and willing to give YOUR response to PASTOR CHUCK BALDWIN'S TOTALLY OPINION-FREE sermon (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=moZMjWkM1rw&pp=ygUqUEFTVE9SIENIVUNLIEJBTERXSU46IFdIQVQgSVMgQSBDSFJJU1RJQU4_0gcJCRMMAYcqIYzv), which I shared earlier within this thread, that BIBLICALLY-ONLY defines CHRISTIANITY that's as likewise opinion-free, YOURSELVES, and if NOT, why?

Thanks Leo, and I wish more Christians, indeed more people in general, would come to understand that general idea that belief itself is adopted and never forced. In this, belief and love are kindred.

Oh my that's weird! Leo, I answered your first message with my previous text comment, but only after I sent it did I see your second one. And I used the word "adopted" in my text, and then saw that you used the word "adopted" at the beginning of your second audio. To me, adoption is a choice that can be seen, by the adopted when we speak of people, as positive. I was born to my parents, but my parents chose my brother deliberately and after careful consideration. That's a statement of not only acceptance but genuine appreciation I'd say. I hope this view helps someone out there who was adopted.

I really feel sorry for people still trapped in group think. This is why I say more than two people, and you have a cult. Obviously, I'm talking about people outside of a family. But as Solomon says, we haven't had anything new. What was will be again. This is why the flood had to happen. There were nefalimic humans, because of the fallen stars going into women. So we had the tech we have today. They just keep cycling us through the various ways of survival in history. I don't believe the God of the scriptures would have wanted churches ripping people off, telling them they had to follow a preacher or priest to get so-called salvation. No one is saved till the end, because Messiah said, he would endures to the end, that's the one who'll be saved. So I kind of laugh when people tell me the date they were saved. It's like, they think they've never failed since 1974. Please. We're going to keep failing till we die. No man had to tell me how raunchy that stuff is.
