Well the beautiful thing is that JD Vance can definitely run for president. He is a young and full of energy and would be the perfect person to finish what Donald Trump started for eight years. And by that time this country would've seen 12 years of prosperity, so perhaps voters from that point forward would keep Republicans in office.

We need a president who cares about disabilities and that’s gonna help us get the resources we need

Of course he can’t do it so why does he say it all the time, because it gets in the liberals heads and they go insane and the rest of us laugh.

That is correct, Franklin Roosevelt was elected four times. It is precisely that that spearhead the movement to pass the 22nd amendment. The 22nd amendment was passed in 1951, several years after Roosevelt had passed away and that’s why it did not apply to him. Before Roosevelt, president serving two terms was more of an informal rule established by George Washington but nothing that was actually written into the constitution. The 22nd amendment changed that and made it an official rule.

It doesn’t matter whether the terms are consecutive or non-consecutive. The 22nd amendment states “no person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice.“ It does not make any distinction between non-consecutive or consecutive terms.

I’m not as well-versed in politics as I should be, but I’m scared so I’m watching these things. But I thought the limit was that they couldn’t serve more than two consecutive terms was I wrong? He hasn’t had to consecutive terms yet because Biden had his term between the two. But please correct me if that’s wrong.
