  Charles H: Funnily enough, she has both a Claires Kitchen and Unseen Cook Podcast. Of course Ibelieve in the power of prayer and the almighty, all knowing God. He’s answered many prayers I’ve prayed, just not necessarily in the way I thought he would.

  I vote you change the name to Claire's Kitchen and you two talk about stuff while doing kitchen tasks. I have been prayed over as a child and didn't know how to cope with it, so I just thanked them and moved on, but I was very uncomfortable. I believe in God, and I believe that things beyond our understanding can affect the world in ways we might call miracles, but those things, by their definition, are rare and a confluence of chance and maybe even Divine will. For everything else, there is physics to explain how things work. We can't discount the power of prayer and of the human mind and self-fulfilling prophecy, but I would agree that the stories you hear about people getting out of their wheelchairs or blind people throwing aside their canes and seeing the church for the first time or whatever are made up. There are even examples of those being staged to further the group think of the rest of the congregation.
