I have tried cannabis gummy's, but they made me really paranoid, so I never tried it again. I don't care to either.

I can see how some of Gordon's comments on drugs could be construed as judgy, especially since he himself has never used them. However, though I actually agree with a lot of what he is saying here, I disagree with the whole thing of weed being a gateway drug. For some folks, that might be the case. From my lived experience, I'd argue that alcohol is much more of a gateway to other stuff, than pot'll ever be. I certainly never chased speed or ekkies or anything like that when I was stoned, but when I was drunk, different story.

Hey charles, I don’t smoke. And this is totally blind of me, but is that a water fountain or fish swimming in your background? And yeah, I don’t know what else to say but I guess I’ll see you around or send you a text or something. Hope you’re doing good.

Oh, the old weed being a gateway drug theory. Got it. Because no true stoner actually does that. No true stoner also puts weed above their family or needs. That should clear that up.
Gordon
But at the end of the day my theory works best for me. I've never done drugs, I've never been without money, I've never gone hungry, I've never not been able to pay my bills, I've always been able to live comfortably because I'm not spending money on drugs. I can apply for any job that I want and not have to worry about passing a drug test or not doing drugs for a certain amount of time so I can pass the drug test. It just seems that people who do drugs their whole life is consumed with that drug one way or another.

I've also seen a lot of people put their weed habit over the needs of their families and children and paying their bills and stuff like that.
Gordon
Well and a lot of the cases that I've seen and known about personally weed seems to be that Gateway drug. It starts at with weed then they graduate to meth, heroin cocaine and other stuff. That doesn't apply to everyone obviously but I have seen a lot of of that. And if you smoke weed these days, you have to be damn careful where you're getting it from because there's so much of that being laced with fentanyl especially in the metropolitan area is where I live. You hear constant stories about that.

Taylor. Just curious to know why you're feeling attacked on here. I haven't come across anyone who has sounded judgy or anything of those who still use pot for what ever reason.

I wish I could reply to comments directly, but honestly slay. Not everyone’s like that on this thread, but some people are and they need to get over themselves and get their noses out of their asses. It’s better to do weed than Adderall or some shit, I mean at least it’s natural and doesn’t have any catastrophic effects if you don’t abuse it. For fuck‘s sake, you can literally die from eating too many apples so yeah, you can abuse something and it isn’t for everyone, doesn’t make the whole thing bad. I love it. Keep smoking it all up with pride LOL. Burn it queen.

With all due respect, it doesn’t suddenly make you cooler or a better person because you don’t smoke. Personally, I’d rather light up than be under the thumb of alcohol or prescription pills. You aren’t holier than thou just because you’re sober, or you only do snuff, which is a far nastier habit. I don’t seee stoners judging sober folks, so I don’t necessarily understand why the judgment needs to be present. Not talking about everyone in this thread, but if the shoe fits.

I quit over a decade ago. One of the best moves I've ever made. Waste of money and time.

I used to use weed gummies because they're good for chronic pain, but I always always felt incredibly depressed the next day, and also I never became a functional stoner, so it stopped feeling worth it to me pretty quickly. I had a medical card but it's long expired. I don't have anything against weed, I just don't think it's for me. I didn't like the loss of control it made me feel, which is the same reason I don't drinkk.

Yes, people who do drugs can't be happy anymore without that stuff. So the only time that you will find them in a tolerable mood is if they have it. Their whole life revolves around having what they need in order to perform and do what the rest of us do on our own. And they just seemed to live their life from a hit to hit. Either thinking about the next time they're going to take a hit or how they're gonna come up with the money to pay for that next hit.

The only thing that I do is dip snuff, but I don't smoke or do any kind of drugs. I can't stand for something to have power over me that I would have to have in order to have a good day. And most people that I've ever known that smoke or do drugs can't have happiness in their life without that. I like it better just being able to get up out of bed and already be happy.
