No! We're about to be beat to death with Christmas for two whole months. It was much better the way it used to be when we would all put our trees up and dig out the lights from the attic the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Replying to @gordon: AudioUrban myth perhaps. The term "Christmas Creep" was coined in the 80s to describe the trend of pushing the buying season farther and farther before Christmas. There was no concerted effort to move the start of celebrations, and spending lol, as a direct response to 9/11.
