For me, maturity and a person's communication style are big factors in what attracts me. Aside from their voice, I now value other things, such as being serious and focused when talking to someone, having strong principles and not being easily tempted, respecting personal boundaries rather than being overly open to everyone, and of course, being understanding, humble, and calm. Preferences definitely change with age and experience. When I was younger, a voice or talent was often what caught my interest and made me admire someone. But as I've grown older, my standards have deepened, and I look more closely at a person's overall character and maturity before I feel truly drawn to or admire them.
