"not quite sure the answer you are wanting, but I would be very happy still without the complications of that, yes. I daresay."
Is it possible? Yes. Is it for me? Definitely not. Intimacy isn't just about sex but it's an important component for many people, including myself.

I wonder if your friend is getting it from somewhere else? I mean you can't just turn that stuff off unless you have some sort of condition where you can't get sexually aroused or something. There is no on and off switch for that.

To echo Charlie, it is possible but not for me. Seems highly unnatural. Sex is a great way to bond with your partner.

I definitely wouldn't want to commit to a sexless relationship. There are close friendships, and those don't need sex, but I would not go into a relationship knowing that there would be no sex. If I had been in a relationship for years and something happened to my partner that made sex impossible or uncomfortable, that's a bit different. But why commit to a sexless relationship when I might meet someone who I have a mutual sexual attraction with? For those who are a-sexual, that's different as well, but that's definitely not me.
